The 3.5 Interlocking Nail System is a simple, yet effective method of fracture reduction in small animals. An interlocking nail is a refined intramedullary pin that has been inserted into the medullary cavity of a fractured long bone, specifically the humerus, femur, or tibia. Blood supply to the bone is not compromised. Titanium nail implants do not need to be removed.
